WCHS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the future development of agriculture in Western Colorado through the combined efforts of its members. The annual WCHS conference provides tree fruit growers access to novel techniques and research to better the industry of Western Colorado. The WCHS Conference begins with a full day bus tour of local orchards, and is followed by two days of speaker presentations covering applicable horticulture topics and opportunities to mingle with fellow growers. In conjunction with valuable presentations from knowledgeable speakers, a trade show will take place on the main floor where vendors across several regions will answer product questions and demonstrate new resources for our area. The event is capped off with an industry banquet to celebrate the season's successes. The WCHS conference coincides with the Colorado Association of Viticulture and Enology's VinCo conference, allowing growers the ability to learn and socialize across industries.
Bus Tour starts 8am Tuesday, January 21st. Workshops and tradeshow will be on Wednesday, January 22nd and Thursday, January 23rd.
