Film Screening of CUT (November 9, 2024)

Event closed

Online Webinar

Join the Genital Autonomy Legal Defense and Education Fund (GALDEF) on Saturday, November 9 for the latest in our series of retrospective screenings of films about circumcision from the 1990s and early 2000s. On that day we’ll screen CUT: Slicing through the myths of circumcision by filmmaker Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon. Watch the film trailer HERE.

“..a deadly serious and admirably balanced look at the medical, sociological, ethical and religious aspects of male circumcision.”
                    – The Jewish Week (2008)

           “Informative and thought-provoking”
                    –  Chicago Tribune (2007)

As with previous screenings, this global webinar will occur simultaneously across multiple domestic and international time zones as a means to educate newer intactivists and as a fundraiser for the important work of GALDEF.  See exact screening times below.

Filmmaker Eliyahu Ungar-Sargon will join a post-screening panel with pioneering intactivist Dan Strandjord and foreskin restoration advocate Ron Low as all three discuss their participation in the film, the progress they’ve seen since the film was made, and their thoughts about remaining obstacles, challenges and strategies going forward. The Q&A feature of the webinar will allow attendees to post questions to the panelists and have them answered in real time after the film screening.

Ticket sales commence September 14th.  Event capacity is limited to the first 100 ticket purchasers, so buy your ticket early. Ticket sales close one hour before screening time.
