Personalized Bricks in San Marco Square

Have you ever stopped to read the bricks around the Three Lions Fountain? Have you spotted names you know? Now is your chance to get your very own — or better yet, to honor someone’s memory, or give one as a gift!

Each brick personalization allows for 3 lines of text with up to 12 characters in each line. Remember, spaces count as characters too! Each brick costs $100.00 and benefits the Balis Park Fund and the continued beautification of San Marco Square.

You can add a heart symbol or a paw print image for an additional $10.00. (Please inquire with SMPS staff to design your layout. Adding a symbol may affect the number of characters allowed.)

Each brick remains in the Square in perpetuity, and in offering this unique product, SMPS strives to simultaneously preserve the historicity and village-center charm of Balis Park and San Marco Square. For this reason, we politely ask that personalized bricks not be used to advertise a specific service or contain a phone number.

SMPS is also happy to support local small businesses by using a local brick-blasting company.

Please be advised that brick color is determined by available supply and may vary.

For safety reasons, SMPS staff do not attend blasting sessions or brick installations and cannot guarantee the order in which bricks are blasted or placed next to another specific brick.

Bricks take on average 2-3 weeks from start to finish. Installation of bricks ordered after December 5thcannot be guaranteed by December 25th.

Personalized Brick with Heart or Paw Symbol

IF adding a paw print image OR heart symbol, please choose from one of the layout options. (Layouts apply to both hearts and paw prints.) Note: Adding a symbol may decrease the number of allowed characters per line. Please work with SMPS staff to confirm the layout and spacing of your brick order. At this time, only heart or paw print symbols are offered. Please watch for communication from SMPS staff to coordinate the layout and proof approval for your order. Please note: brick orders are not considered complete until 1) payment is received AND 2) your brick proof is approved.
