Raffle Rules

This raffle is being conducted by Meals on Wheels People, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Before participating, please ensure you're familiar with the rules and regulations surrounding the Community Cares Raffle benefitting Meals on Wheels People and The Jeremy Wilson Foundation:


Eligibility:

•Participants must be at least 21 years old at entry.

•Participants must be located within the state of Oregon at the time of entry.

•Employees and their household members, as well as board members of Meals on Wheels People and The Jeremy Wilson Foundation are not eligible to participate.

Entry Period:

•The raffle begins on May 15 at 12:00 AM PST and ends on July 7 at 7:00 PM PST, or until 1,000 tickets are sold.


How to Enter:

•To enter the raffle, participants must purchase one or more raffle tickets through the raffle at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/7db2f54f-af48-4be0-8e1e-4d274803cbb4

•Each ticket purchased counts as one entry into the raffle.

•There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual may purchase.

Winner Selection:

•Winners will be selected via a random drawing on July 7 at 8:00 PM PST, by a Jeremy Wilson Foundation representative and a Meals on Wheels People representative. The drawing will take place at The Waterfront Blues Festival (1400 SW Naito Parkway, Portland OR, 97201) in the Community Partners tent.

•Winners do not need to be present to win.

•Winners will be notified via email/phone within 24 hours of the drawing.

Claiming Prizes:

•The winner or confirmed alternate must pick up the prizes from the Meals on Wheels People Central Office, located at 7710 SW 31st Ave, Portland, OR 97219, during business hours, M-T, 9:00 AM—4:00 PM. Please note that the signed Waterfront Blues Festival poster will not be available until 4-6 weeks after the drawing is completed.

Taxes and Fees:

•Winners are solely responsible for any taxes or fees associated with their prizes.

Publicity:

•By participating in the raffle, entrants grant Meals on Wheels People and Jeremy Wilson Foundation the right to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation.

General Terms:

•All raffle ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

•By participating in the raffle, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of Meals on Wheels People and Jeremy Wilson Foundation, which are final and binding.

Meals on Wheels People enriches the lives of seniors and assist them in maintaining independence by providing nutritious food, human connections, and social support. We also use our expertise and capacity to serve other nutritionally at-risk populations.


The Jeremy Wilson Foundation supports musicians and music industry workers in Oregon and Clark County, WA by providing a safety net of support when they are experiencing medical or health-related challenges.
