VOICE with KELSEY BUFFINGTON | 6:00-7:00pm | Ages 8-13 All classes are pay-what-you-will! (Suggested donation of $10 per class) Have you ever wanted to be able to look at a piece and be able to sing it? Well now is your Julie Andrews’s moment! Come join us for a fun introduction into sightsinging! We’ll begin with the Do Re Mi’s of solfege and learn how it can help us with reading music. We’ll also work on some ear training and how to listen to music in a way that both helps you become a better musician and also cultivate a love and appreciation for what you’re singing. For our older participants we’ll do more of a deep dive into how to approach a piece to sight sing and some useful tools and tricks to help you in your next audition or music rehearsal!
