Assalamu Alaykum and welcome to our December sisters’ breakfast and conversation event.
Alhamdulilah this is also the second year anniversary of the Sisters Breakfast and Conversation.
We will have a guest speaker this month; sister Rania Abuelzain talking on Emotional Intelligence and Coping Techniques from an Islamic Lens.
Sister Rania is a Middle Eastern immigrant, Muslim American, wife, and mother of three, brings over 25 years of expertise in professional coaching, human development, and training. Started her career as an electrical engineer. Driven by a passion for understanding human behavior and fostering personal growth, she transitioned into the field of psychology, earning a Master's degree with a major in applied behavior analysis. Registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional with the Oregon Board, she combines her engineering precision with psychological insight to deliver impactful coaching. Currently pursuing a PhD in clinical and behavioral psychology, her research focuses on mental health awareness and prevention specifically aimed at aiding the youth. She dedicates her expertise to conducting workshops for teachers and parents, promoting personal development, and fostering a supportive environment for young individuals to thrive.
