You have to hear it out loud to know if it’s good. So that’s what we’re gonna do. Join writer and filmmaker, Aissa, who is hosting the second part of her summer monthly table read series. This time we’re coming to Los Angeles, the official home of film and tv! Two selected screenwriters will have their written projects performed by professional actors. After each writer’s table read, an audience of writers, actors, filmmakers, executives and so on will have the chance to participate and provide constructive feedback. Film and TV is a communal art practice and this event allows us to come together and do what we love as we navigate the industry that is Hollywood, especially during such uncertain times following the global pandemic and the writer’s strike. Writers will leave with a better understanding of their voice and project, and even more importantly, community will be made.
