Brian Whelan and Emily Zuzik

Event closed

Collage is pleased to welcome two visionary singer-songwriters to our stage – Brian Whelan and Emily Zuzik. Whelan is perhaps best known for his work with Dwight Yoakam, Jim Lauderdale, and Chris Shiflett, all artists who blend American roots music, county, and personal style. When Whelan is out in front, his earnest, passionate delivery shows that he’s as impressive a talent as the famed performers he’s played with. There’s a vein of Americana in Emily Zuzik’s music too, woven in with straight ahead rock, Memphis Stax sounds, and just a little menace. Her sound has been compared to Sheryl Crow and Liz Phair, but she is more than the sum of her influences. That originality has brought success, and her album “Torch & Trouble” made several best of the year lists in 2020. This is a chance to see two superb artists in an intimate showroom with great acoustics. This concert is produced with the assistance of John Antich, who will co-host the event.
