deadCenter's award-winning Statewide Education Tour seeks to inspire students across the state by introducing them to the fundamentals of filmmaking, with a focus on workforce development. Before the festival, deadCenter University offers free workshops in screenwriting, acting, and educator training, along with film camps where completed student films will be screened at the film festival.
