CA District 23 Little League

Whether a high school athlete, or not, becoming a junior umpire in a local Little League program offers teens a way to grow their self-esteem and gain experience in a challenging role for 13-17 year old's to learn leadership, responsibility, and accountability. Skilled umpires are in high demand at all levels all over the country. This is a solid foundation for a great part-time job in college too. <ul><li>All clinics and classroom instruction is free. Umpire experience is not needed, we will train you.</li><li>Set your own schedule of availability, choose when to work. </li><li>Earn Community Service hours for High School!</li><li>Gain a deeper understanding of the game and improve your skills as a player.</li><li>Earn Extra Money!!!</li></ul>District 23 Board Leadership is in complete support of this program. We will be working with the individual leagues to create opportunities, rewards, and recognition for Junior Umpires.
