Explore the art of capturing natural light and enhance your plein air painting skills with this immersive two-day workshop. 


Artist-teacher Melody Phaneuf welcomes all levels passionate about learning. 

Dive into the Impressionist palette, learning to mix vibrant, luminous colors. Added bonus will be an emphasis on water-based oil paints (bet Monet and Pissarro wish they'd had some of them!)


Master techniques of optical blending to achieve stunning visual effects. Engage in hands-on exercises to solidify your understanding of color and light. Create small oil studies to practice new techniques. Complete a larger, more detailed painting over two sessions, honing your plein air skills. 


Join us for an enriching artistic journey where you will refine your painting practice, learn new techniques, and connect with fellow artists in a supportive environment.


Class meets two successive WEDNESDAYS, September 11 and 18, 10 to 4 each day
