Skate Park Skill Level Guide - Roller Skate

Rookie - I have never (maybe once or twice) been to the skatepark. I’m comfortable roller skating forwards, backwards, rolling down slopes, stopping and transitioning. I am ready to learn what park skating is all about.

Beginner - I spend some time in the skate park and I am comfortable pumping in the bowl (including fakie) and carving around. I am ready to learn how to drop in and more.

Intermediate - I spend a fair amount of time in the park. I am solid pumping, carving, dropping in up to 6’, stalling, jumping off small ledges. I am in the early stages of slides, grinds, handplants, inverts, airs and bigger drop ins.

Advanced - I basically live at the skatepark. I like to drop in big, carve fast, half cab/backside like no tomorrow and my friends think I’m fearless. Looking to mix up the park flow and learn all the hottest tricks from various spins, inverts, grinds and slides.
