Clan MacLeod is very excited to be the HONORED CLAN at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games 2024.  Also, Chief John of Raasay and Lady Elizabeth will be the Honored Guests of the Games.  It has been decades since Clan MacLeod has been granted this honor at GMHG.  Please plan to join in the festivities this summer July 11th-14th and make your reservations now.  One of the highlights of the weekend will be a Clan MacLeod dinner with Chief John and Lady Elizabeth at the Best Western in Banner Elk on Saturday evening July 13th at 7:00pm.  We will serve a traditional Scottish themed dinner featuring Roast Highland Beef and Chicken Bonnie Prince Charlie, Neeps and Tatties, and ending with Cranachan Trifle and Whiskey Bread Pudding.  A cash bar will be available. Please purchase your tickets for the Clan dinner on this site as well as extra sponsorship opportunities.  We kindly ask for any donations to offset the costs of travel and accommodations to bring Chief John to the U.S.!
