Don’t miss out on the chance to sponsor Prime Time for Women’s 5th Annual Grandma Gatewood Legacy Hike(s) to be held on Saturday October 26, 2024.  In 1955, Emma “Grandma” Gatewood was the first woman to solo thru-hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine…and she accomplished this feat at 67 years of age!  She was not limited by the perceptions of others. When she was discouraged from hiking the 2,091 miles trail, she did it anyway!  Grandma Gatewood embraced challenges as adventures, and pursued possibilities rather than probabilities. 

Business owners that embrace challenges as adventures and want to share in the legacy of possibilities are invited to sponsor the 5th Grandma Gatewood Legacy Hike and Birthday Bash. Your support will enable PTFW to continue FREE community-based programs (Walking to Wellness, PTFW Book Club and Saturday in the Park) that celebrate and foster healthy aging at every age! Because PTFW's believes that we are stronger, healthier and happier together, each year we select, connect with, and donate a portion of our proceeds to another worthy nonprofit.  PTFW is proud to announce that this year we will share 10% of our proceeds with The Eleder Group (Hagerstown), an organization committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate services to seniors and displaced persons in our community.
