Join the Kansas Black Leadership Council (KBLC) for Black Legislative Day at the Capitol 2025 as we come together to advocate, connect, and elevate Black voices across Kansas.

This year’s theme, “Amplifying Black Voices: The Work Continues,” reflects our ongoing commitment to addressing issues that impact Black Kansans. Together, we’ll explore strategies to influence policy, foster leadership, and create meaningful change for our communities. 


What to Expect:

  • Engage with Experts: Learn from panels featuring thought leaders and advocates discussing this year’s legislative priorities.
  • Interact with Legislators: Meet key decision-makers and share your concerns and ideas.
  • Shape the Black Agenda: Be a part of critical conversations that guide our advocacy efforts.
  • Network and Connect: Build relationships with Black leaders, community members, and allies from across the state.
