Phim Finding the Virgo, do Lauren Vương thực hiện, là một phim từng đoạt giải thưởng phim tài liệu, kể về câu chuyện vượt biển nguy hiểm của cô bé 7 tuổi (Lauren) và gia đình. Sau khi được tàu Virgo cứu thoát vào năm 1980 và được  định cư tại Hoa Kỳ, cô bắt đầu cuộc hành trình đi tìm dấu vết những thủy thủ, những ân nhân trên chiếc tàu Virgo năm xưa đã cứu một chiếc thuyền nhỏ với 62 thuyền nhân đang bấp bênh giữa biển, cận kề với cái chết, trong tình trạng đói khát và vô cùng tuyệt vọng.

Join the Bui Foundation for a special screening of Finding the Virgo, directed by Lauren Vuong, is an award-winning documentary film that tells the story of a 7-year-old girl (Lauren) and her family escaped from Vietnam during the Boat People Crisis. Her miraculous rescue by the crew of the American-flagged LNG carrier, Virgo, set the course for her life in America, where she would later embark on a decades-long journey to track down the captain and crew who saved her.
