We’re excited to launch our season with In The Midst: A Human Experience, a concert that invites the audience to explore the emotions that unite us all. This will be a moment of reflection and contemplation, as we explore themes of compassion, hope, and love through moving choral works.
Caroline Shaw’s To the Hands, performed with string quintet, creates a bridge between past and present, calling us to reflect on our collective responsibility toward those in need, especially in today’s global context. Jake Runestad’s Please Stay addresses the often-silenced topic of mental health, offering a message of hope and support for those in difficult times. Susan LaBarr’s Love Then and Still provides a beautiful and poignant reflection on love’s resilience through loss.
This concert sets the stage for a season full of emotional depth and connection—don’t miss this powerful beginning.
This concert is free to attend, but we invite you to consider making a donation. Your contribution directly supports our programs and helps us continue bringing high-quality performances like this one to our community. Every gift, big or small, makes a difference—thank you for your support!
