The Circle of Life Hospice Foundation has served the community since 2002 providing community education, caregiving support, financial help with underserved dying patients and complementary therapies. Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance policies do not cover the residential services of a Hospice Guest House. Most elderly people in our community do not have means to pay for ‘room and board’ at the end of life, nor have a caregiver to care for them, and also cannot afford 24/7 caregiving in the home. The COL Guest House is FREE to those in need. On 06/09/2024 after over 20 years of this being a dream of our community,  we’ve made history with your unified commitment and help. We finally opened the first FREE Social Model Hospice Guest House ever in the entire State of Nevada. 

Our goal for this Dignity DINNER Gala is to raise our annual operating budget of $340,000.  Our community’s kind and generous donations, both big and small, will help many all around Northern Nevada. Anything raised beyond that goal, will help us expand to more availability. Unfortunately, for every Guest that we help we have to turn away 4-6 precious individuals that are in critical need! Your continued trust and support will enable us to keep our doors open for many years to come. As well as help so many more by expanding to more available beds!
