Presenter Bios

Crystal Grimsley, M.A. 
Co-founder, Clinician, trainer, and clinical operations
Crystal received her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Webster University. She is a trauma-informed relational therapist with over 15 years of experience working with youth, families, communities, and organizations to address the impact of trauma on development and relationships. Crystal has used trauma-informed practices to empower individuals, couples, and families to amplify their strengths and unapologetically embrace their unique life’s journey to recover from trauma; improve familial and social relationships, and ultimately move towards experiencing a more fulfilled version of life.
DJ Watson, M.A., LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor
Co-founder, Clinician, trainer, supervisor, and researcher
DJ received his M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from NEIU. He has over 15 years of experience working with individuals, families, communities, and organizations to identify and address issues of race, class, culture, sexuality, gender, and ethnicity in an ever-changing world. He is a member of the NEIU Counselor Education Advisory Board, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor & an IAMFT Executive Board member. DJ works as a private consultant and co-founder of a MFT group practice.
