Our next Hackensack River Nation Council meeting will be December 18, 3 - 4:30 pm at a location in the Hackensack/Teaneck area to be determined. A Zoom option will be available for those who can’t join in person.

The agenda:

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Updates on Hackensack River Nation Summit (tentatively scheduled for February 25, 2025)
  • Presentation on MS4 stormwater management requirements that affect all New Jersey municipalities, by Dr. Christopher Obropta, P.E., Director, Rutgers Cooperation Service, Water Resources Program. Learn more about the program here.
Hackensack River Nation is a regional alliance of organizations and leaders working to protect ecosystems in the watershed, build stronger connections between area residents and the Hackensack River, promote better public access to the river, and advance environmentally-friendly economic development in the region.  Together our voices are stronger and have more clout.
