Help Advocates for Upstate supply robotic pets to Upstate's Nursing Department by sponsoring a pet. The dogs and cats come with built-in sensors that respond to motion and touch. They provide comfort and companionship and can facilitate communications with elderly patients with dementia, and with developmentally disabled patients.
Whether you sponsor a pet yourself or go in together with friends and colleagues, $100 enables the Advocates to supply a robotic cat or dog to the Nursing Department that will enrich a patient's life.
Your sponsorship will be recognized to the patients and their families as well as on Advocates for Upstate's website and social media. Of course, you may choose to give anonymously as well or to do so in honor or memory of a loved one.
(Please note that when you pay the default setting is for a 15% donation to Zeffy so that Advocates is charged no transaction fees. You will be able to choose to set this to a lower amount or to zero.)
Thank You to Our Sponsors!
