Here is more TAWAWA will be held June 20-22, 2024, at Central State University. This Christian Education Congress brings all components of the Third Episcopal District into worship, learning and fellowship together. Arrival is10:00 a.m. through 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 20th. Engaging activities begin upon arrival and continue throughout Tawawa.

 Please make plans now to register online and remit fees by May 24th. Fees cover activities, a dormitory room for 2 nights, 6 meals and 2 snacks.


 Fees are $175.00 for youth and $250.00 for adults staying on campus. (A Tawawa T-shirt is included in the registration fee.) 

Those sleeping off campus will pay a $165.00 fee covering meals, T-shirts and activities. One day registration is $55.00.

Chaperone requirements Every church must arrange for one chaperone per twelve youth and ensure that there is a man assigned to supervise in the boy’s dorm and a woman assigned to supervise in the girl’s dorm.


Chaperones must be socially mature and 21 years of age or older and:1) complete background checks by May 1, 2024,2) stay overnight in the dormitory where the youth they are supervising are staying, and3) carry out the chaperone expectations included in this packet.


Accommodations for special needs Central State University is an accessible campus. Any church bringing a child who requires specialized medical or behavioral supports must provide a chaperone assigned to be the one-on-one aide who is with that child throughout the Tawawa experience.


Behavior requirements All participants are expected to demonstrate safe and respectful leadership behaviors and to respond respectfully to redirection or correction.
