In this World Premiere one-man clown variety show, Gherkin Picklewater takes audiences on a wild trip to the final performance of humanity’s last-ever dinner show, taking place mid-apocalypse. Through Clown, Eccentric Juggling, Live Music, Sing-Alongs, Escapology, Stand Up Comedy, and Existential Dread Gherkin does his damnedest to make sure the last show on earth is one to be remembered (or as long as that lasts).

Gherkin Picklewater moved to San Francisco in 2005 to pursue his passion for clown and immersed himself in the vibrant world of circus and live performance immediately. After graduating from the renowned Clown Conservatory at San Francisco Circus Center, Picklewater went on to create and perform in the “Picklewater Free Circus Festival”, which ran successfully for over a decade, attracting talent from around the world.
Gherkin also produced the multi-year run of the Picklewater Clown Cabaret at Stage Werx Theatre, was the artistic director of the improvised variety show “Cirque Oui-Et”, hosts several different audio and video podcasts series, and has done numerous stage and cabaret performances, including appearances on the “Schadenfreude Face of Challenge Game Show of Moderate Discomfort”, Sony’s Puppeteer Live, and multiple appearances with Bay Area Burlesque show Séduction Féroce.
As an actor, clown, and improviser, Gherkin performs in both comedic and dramatic capacities, bringing his unique blend of energy, humor, and emotional depth to every project. His work is marked by physical comedy, a commitment to emotional vulnerability, and purple suits
with matching tennis shoes.
