The American Teilhard Association invites you to join us at the Spirituality & Retreat Center at Daylesford Abbey in Paoli, PA for our annual event featuring speaker John Philip Newell, Canadian and Scottish teacher of Celtic spirituality. He will be presenting via Zoom.

For those gathered in-person at the Abbey, we will prepare for Newell’s presentation by discussing the chapter on Teilhard from Newell’s most recent book, Sacred Earth Sacred Soul. The rest of the weekend will be dedicated to enjoying one another’s company, group discussion, contemplation, prayer, socials, and meals.

Location: We will be meeting at the Spirituality and Retreat Center at Daylesford Abbey in Paoli, Pennsylvania. The Abbey rests on over 80 acres of gorgeous countryside and features its church and chapels, comfortable amenities, Wooded Stations of the Cross, fields, streams, and abundance of wildlife. Conveniently located 30 minutes from PHL airport, the Abbey is easily accessible by SEPTA/AMTRAK. 

Accommodations: Overnight rooms are fashioned with a bed, a sink and mirror, chair or desk, pillows, towels, and linens. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi are available throughout the facility. Guest floors are accessible by elevator and stairs. Bathrooms are shared, yet private.

Accessibility: Daylesford Abbey has a limited number of accessibility-friendly rooms that must be requested in advance. Please check the appropriate box on your order form if you are in need of one such room.

Meals: The meals included are listed within the package you select. There are planned times for refreshments and socials on Friday and Saturday in the afternoon and evening. Coffee and tea are available throughout the day.

Dietary Needs: Our kitchen staff prepares fresh meals daily for the Norbertine community and all Abbey guests. Please include any dietary needs in the appropriate section of your form.
