MGMS Membership Application

Mississippi Gem and Mineral Society (MGMS) membership runs from January 1 (or date of membership payment if after January 1) and expires December 31 each year. MGMS communicates with its members electronically. This includes distribution of our newsletter. By providing an email address on this application you are giving your consent to receive email communications from MGMS. Any email provided will receive all communications.

Member Cost:

Family Membership (Single Household) $35.00

Adult Membership $20.00

Junior Membership (Ages 6 yrs up to 18 yrs )

$ 5.00

(This Membership type is an additiion to an Adult MGMS Membership, which is responsible for the Junior Member)

Adult Student $5.00

(Adult students must be currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning)

*Membership should be renewed annually before or on January 1 to remain current.

* I (we) have read the General Rules for participation in MGMS Activities. I (we) understand that there are separate Rules of Participation agreement forms specifically relating to field trip participation and utilization of MGMS Lapidary School resources and, if I (we) choose to participate in field trips or utilize the Lapidary School resources, I (we) hereby acknowledge and accept the rules and agreement(s).

*I (we) agree to abide by all rules and restriction governing MGMS activities both written and those conveyed orally.

*I (we) understand that I (we) may be required to sign a copy of the General Rules and/or Rules of Participation relating to field trips or utilization of Lapidary School equipment and resources if the Executive Board deems necessary

*I (we) acknowledge that if found non-compliant of set rules that, depending on the offense, I (we) could be reprimanded, or membership terminated by the Executive Board

Ages 6 yrs up to 18 yrs of age. Select if adding a child to an existing Adult Membership that is responsible for the Junior Member. *Must complete section Junior Membership Section in application*

Adult Student Membership

Renews yearly

Ages 18 yrs up to 25 years of age and currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning. *Must complete Adult Student Membership Section in application*

Family Membership

$35

Renews yearly

Available for immediate family only. Family Membership consist of NO MORE than 2 adult age members with related children 6 yrs up to 18 years living within the same household. *Must complete Family Membership Section in application*
