Welcome to the Sudanese American Community Development Organization (SACDO)!

The SACDO Board in the Greater Washington Area invites you all to join our community, as joining is a guaranteed right and a duty for every individual aged 18 and above. By participating, we work together to build a cohesive and healthy community in our American diaspora, here in the Greater Washington area.

Your membership with us means unifying our efforts to empower individuals and families, strengthen the ties that connect us, and preserve our rich Sudanese heritage. Your membership is real support for our programs, a boost to our unity, and a step towards building a brighter future for us and our children.

With you and alongside you, we become stronger and more resilient, capable of facing the challenges of living abroad and overcoming hardships.
