Virtual Trivia Night [WOMEN'S HEALTH EDITION] - August 11, 2024

Online with Crowdpurr

Test your women's health knowledge and raise funds for our cervical and breast cancer screening programs at The Wilson Center for Women in Sega, Kenya. This trivia game will be hosted virtually using the Crowdpurr platform and can easily be played on your phone.  This is a fast-paced game of 45 questions and should take less than 45 minutes.  The game will start promptly at 7:00pm EST so please be on time! Compete in teams of 2-4 members.  Teams must be physically located together in order to participate as a team and will answer questions using one device. The winner will be determined by the number of correct answers as well as the speed with which the questions are answered.

DID YOU KNOW...

...Cervical cancer is almost always caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), and getting your child vaccinated against HPV can prevent cancer and save lives?!

These are the types of questions you can expect at our Trivia Night which is intended for mature audiences.  Topics will cover a variety of women's health issues, including maternal health, gynecological conditions, sexually transmitted infections, women's health in Kenya, and family planning.  There will also be a few questions on Kenyan culture. Trivia questions were created by Brooke N. and Sara P., two of our amazing former interns, with the assistance of our Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

Prizes will be awarded to the winner(s)!  The highest-scoring individual or team will receive an awesome prize, which will be shipped to one U.S. address following the trivia game and the winning team must provide one (and only one) address to receive the prize.

Even though this game is virtual, we ask that all participants honor the rules of in-person trivia games and maintain good sportsmanship. Specifically, NO CHEATING BY USING ELECTRONIC DEVICES or the brains of those individuals who are NOT on your team.

We hope you have fun and learn some interesting and useful women's health facts.  Instructions to access the game will be provided to you following your ticket purchase.

Thank you for supporting the women and girls of Sega!
