This festival is an initiative of Dr. Janaki Rangarajan along with a core committee with a single focus to spread the beauty and richness of the Indian classical performing arts in all its glory and highlight the exquisite beauty in diversity. The first edition of this festival was held in 2013  and since then, the festival has showcased performances and workshops by both established and upcoming artists alike. Apart from performances and workshops, the festival hopes to create a healthy milieu for meaningful conversations through lectures, residencies, panel-discussions and other such events.

GENERAL TICKET -EARLY BIRD SPECIAL - $22/ticket - ONLY for tickets purchased UNTIL February 22, 2025

General Ticket - $27/ticket  - For tickets purchased AFTER February 22, 2025

Ticket is NON-REFUNDABLE. NON-TRANSFERABLE

No tickets for children aged 2 and below

TICKET TERMS:

Thank you for your interest in attending the Kalashraya Festival . Before you proceed to purchase tickets, we strongly recommend you to go through the following event ticketing terms and conditions:

In this section, words like ‘holder’, ‘bearer’, and ‘purchaser’ will refer to you - the person who will buy the tickets to Kalashraya Festival. On the other hand, ‘our’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘issuer’, ‘provider’ and similar terms will indicate the organizers of Kalashraya Festival.

By opting to purchase, allocate or possess tickets to Kalashraya Festival, you automatically agree to our terms of use. If you have problems with any of the clauses listed below or do not agree with the risk allocations mentioned here, please do not purchase tickets or try to enter the Kalashraya Festival premises.

The price of one Kalashraya Festival  ticket is $22 for General Early bird Special ticket (for purchases made NO LATER than February 22,  2025)  AND $27 for General ticket (For purchases made AFTER February 22, 2025). This price is non-negotiable.

The ticket you purchase represents the access to attend the festival at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen, VA on March 22, 2025, when Kalashraya Festival is scheduled to be hosted. 

The ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The bearer has to assume full responsibility of the Kalashraya Festival tickets, once they receive it. Kalashraya Festival has no liabilities - financial, legal, or otherwise - in case the delivered tickets are stolen, lost, damaged, destroyed or rendered unusable in any other way. NO ENTRY without a ticket.

Kindly note that Zeffy is the sole authorized source for purchasing Kalashraya Festival tickets. If you obtain your ticket(s) from any other unauthorized source, you take on the risks of those tickets turning out to be counterfeit or reported to be stolen. The issuer has the right to dishonor such stolen/counterfeit tickets and declare them as void.

Please note that Kalashraya Festival tickets cannot be redeemed against cash, credits, or any other benefits.

Kalashraya Festival  organizer has the right to investigate if there has been any violation of the Kalashraya Festival ticketing terms and conditions. In case of any conflicts, the decision of Kalashraya Festival organizer will be deemed final (i.e., the issuer will remain the final arbiter in cases of disputes).

If  Kalashraya Festival  is cancelled in its entirety due to any unforeseen circumstances, Kalashraya Festival organizer has the sole and absolute right to:

i) reschedule the event, or

ii) issue a full refund

Full refund will be issued for those who are unable to attend the rescheduled event.

If Kalashraya Festival is cancelled due to any factors or causes not in the control of the issuer, the latter will offer a partial or full refund, or postpone the event, or provide a comparable ‘make good’ option. These factors will be inclusive of, but not limited to, natural disasters, federal/state announcements, strikes and the like. The decision of Kalashraya Festival organizer will be considered final.

Kalashraya Festival does not take any responsibility to personal/financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/stolen/misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be entertained.

Kalashraya Festival  and its organizer follow a common ‘zero-tolerance policy’ towards any type of behavior/actions that can be interpreted as hostile/violent, lewd/obscene OR generally disruptive to the event.  If you and/or those who accompany you indulge in any objectionable action/behavior, you  and those accompanying you will be asked to leave the event premises immediately. Your event ticket(s) will become void from that point on.

In all cases of disputes between the ticket-bearer and the ticket-issuer, the decision of the latter will be deemed final. In case a dispute cannot be resolved, the help of an independent third-party arbiter will be sought.
