Women's Warrior Self-Defense Class Join us for an empowering self-defense workshop led by Michigan DNR Conservation Officers! Designed for women who explore the outdoors—or simply navigate daily life—this class will teach essential skills to increase awareness and personal safety. Whether you're hiking, hunting, visiting a park, or running errands, be prepared to protect yourself with techniques straight from the DNR Training Program. 📅 When: May 3rd, 2025 ⏰ Placement in One of Two Sessions: 8 AM – 12 PM or 1 PM – 5 PM (we will do our best to place you in your preferred session) 👥 Who: Women, ages 18+ (16 participants per session) 📍 Where: Proud Lake Recreation Area, Commerce Twp, MI 🎽 What to Bring: Yourself! Wear athletic clothing and socks. This indoor class will be held on mats, so shoes will be removed. Don’t miss this chance to build confidence and learn practical self-defense skills in a supportive environment!
