Step into the spotlight and explore the wild world of history’s most revered playwrights, William Shakespeare! In this introductory class, students will uncover the secrets of the Bard's unique performance style, dive into the rowdy, exciting realm of Elizabethan theatre, and discover how Shakespeare's genius still shapes modern theatre, performance, and language. Through a combination of lecture, discussion, and activities, students will learn to appreciate Shakespeare’s timeless genius and experience what it would’ve been like to be a star of the Elizabethan stage!

WHEN Monday, March 3, 2025 at 6:00-8:00 PM  WHERE Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Road, Lancaster PA 17601 WHEN YOU ARRIVE  Please drive straight through the parking lot (do not turn left) and drop your students off at the North Entrance (closest to Route 30). If you are a parent who is staying, you are welcome to come into the building, where there will be seating. WHAT TO BRING Please wear clothing and shoes that are comfortable to move in, will keep you covered, and will support the work you are doing. (No bare feet, socks without shoes, sandals, or flip flops will be permitted.) Please bring a water bottle.  PAY-WHAT-YOU-WILL (Suggested donation of $10 per class) We are thrilled to be able to continue serving our community by offering educational theater opportunities.
