Monadnock Peer Support Agency is pleased to announce we will be hosting our 3rd annual fundraiser, the Floating Lantern Festival, on May 31, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Alyson's Orchard in Walpole, NH, with presenting sponsor, DEW Construction! This is an event that not only raises awareness for our mission, but also serves as a symbol of hope and solidarity for individuals struggling with their mental health in our community.

The Floating Lantern Festival is an awe-inspiring event where participants gather to release hundreds of floating lanterns onto the water at dusk.  As the lanterns drift across the water, they carry with them the messages, prayers, and wishes of those who released them. It is a powerful reminder that we are all connected, and that our individual struggles are part of a larger narrative. The festival serves as a beacon of hope, healing and connection.  We invite you to join us, release a lantern, share your story, and become part of a community that is dedicated to spreading kindness and compassion. Together, we can illuminate a path towards healing and understanding while simultaneously fostering a more supportive community for all.

At Monadnock Peer Support Agency, we strive to provide mental health support for individuals seeking wellness through a mutually supportive peer community. As an agency, our desired impact is a world where mental health differences are universally accepted and understood and the communities where we live and work, collaborate to reduce stigma, with the result that no one feels alone, ashamed, or judged for their mental health struggles.

• Lanterns are for sale for $15 each or you can pre-purchase for $10
• Bring a picnic supper, chair and /or a blanket and a flashlight
• Alyson's Tavern will have food for sale

• There will be plenty of markers and stencils to decorate your lantern. Feel free to add a special message

• Maker's Market with local crafters
• Free maker kits for the Kids from Home Depot
• At dusk, we will have a launching ceremony when everyone launches their lit lanterns into the pond at the same time

When you arrive to Alyson's, please park in the lot near the store and event center, and either walk or take the free wagon ride over to Sarmas Pond. There will be two registration tables. One for those who purchased lanterns ahead of the event and those purchasing the day of the event.
