Why is the NYC Century back? This year's NYC Century Ride is possible because of a gift from the estate of Roger Herz. Roger was one of TA's founding members and spent decades advocating for bicycle infrastructure and public transit. Known for "giving mayors an earful" Roger became a fierce advocate for congestion pricing which now exists today. TA is thrilled to honor his legacy with a ride to show off the joy of bicycling and all the progress that has been made on our streets.
