Punching Judy
Friday, Feb 28, March 1 & 2 / Doors at 7:30 / Show at 8pm
Performed by Isadora Sharon / Directed by Dan Griffiths
Wickedly funny, and unapologetically raw, this performance slices through patriarchal brutality, systemic violence, and domestic abuse with biting insight and humor. It lays bare the absurdity of exploitation creeping into our most intimate spaces and dares you to laugh, squirm, and reflect. Bold, daring, and darkly comedic—this is truth-telling at its most irresistible.
Isadora Sharon is a dynamic performer whose artistic journey encompasses dance, clown, mime, choreography, and circus arts. Born and raised in New York, they've been performing since childhood, crafting a unique style that blends classical training with avant-garde expression. Through their performances, Isadora creates work that transcends traditional boundaries, drawing audiences into a realm both timeless and otherworldly. Isadora has performed with Vau de Vire Society, Hubba Hubba Revue, Synapsis Social Circus, and many more. Ask about the gap in her performance resume due to getting stuck in Hungary for a while when you come to the show.
