A Sweat You Won’t Forget ♥ Produced by Keep Going Together
Move with us in support of Charlottesville’s LGBTQ+ community! Local queer activists, including the folks behind The Beautiful Idea and the Charlottesville Gender Expansive Network, are raising funds to make the Rivanna Area Queer Center a reality!
In enthusiastic support of their effort, join us for The Don’t Stop Me Now Movement Experience: a guided movement party with a playlist of queer artists led by Susan McCulley, Creator of Nourishing Movement and Atticus Gore, Werq Dance Fitness Instructor at William & Mary.
Together, they will offer simple movements to get you into your body to music that will take you into your heart. Absolutely no training or experience (even shoes are optional) is needed. Just wear something you love to move in and join us!
Opening soon on West Main Street, the Rivanna Area Queer Center (RAQC) will serve as a safe refuge for all LGBTQIA+ people in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties, a loving home for the community, and a resource for queer liberation. The Center will offer (among other things):
All donations (suggested $30) will go directly to RAQC to help them offer desperately needed support for the queer community. Refreshments will be provided. Please bring a reusable cup or water bottle.
If the event is sold out and you'd like to be added to the waitlist, please fill out this form.
If you can't attend, but would like to support RAQC, you can make a donation here!
