Songs for Comfort - A community benefit concert in support of Valley Connect Outreach featuring Canta Mara Youth Choirs & Nova Scotian Singer - Songwriter Terra Spencer

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music and community as the Canta Mara Youth Choirs collaborate with acclaimed Nova Scotia songwriter Terra Spencer in Songs for Comfort on Sunday, October 19th, 4:00pm at Horton High School. This special concert brings voices together in a spirit of compassion, love and kindness with proceeds supporting Valley Connect Outreach.

Rooted in a belief that every voice matters, the Canta Mara Youth Choirs aim to share music that uplifts and creates connection both within the choir and with the wider community. The singers will lift their voices alongside Terra Spencer’s heartfelt storytelling, weaving songs that carry warmth, solidarity, and hope.

This event is more than a concert—it is an invitation to come together as neighbors in support of those most in need. Through harmony and shared voices, we remind ourselves of the resilience of our community, and of the comfort music can bring when offered with love.

Join us on Sunday, October 19 at 4:00pm at Horton High School Tickets are $20 and we encourage patrons to bring a non-perishable food item in support of Valley Connect Outreach.
