Hello Prénom Nom, Thank you for registering for The Big Sit with the Stanley Park Ecology Society!  This event is on May 28, 2022 (@8:00AM-2:00PM). Please arrive at the Nature House on Lost Lagoon (located near the intersection of Alberni and Chilco Street, underneath the viewing platform). Come join at any point throughout the event, for as long as you like! No need to print off your ticket, drop-ins are welcome. You may be required to fill out a health check to participate. The goal? To record the variety of birds in an area through patient and peaceful observation. Join us and local birders for our very own Big Sit presented by SPES and Birds Canada, stationed in the accessible and beloved birding destination of Lost Lagoon. With the help of birding experts and staff, have a seat with a beautiful view of the water, forest, skies and mountains and use binoculars and scopes to spot dozens of bird species! We’ll be set up from 8am to 2pm, and you are welcome to drop in for as long as you like. At the end of the day, we’ll take your observations and submit them to eBird to contribute to a valuable set of bird data!
