No prior experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with a few special pieces to share or keep. Organized by a collection of non-profits, artists, and other institutions, the Celebration is a two-week series of events to appreciate the bird species of Greater Vancouver. Events are open to all and most are free, with programs including bird-related workshops, walks, talks, exhibitions, and lectures. Terms and Conditions(1) Registration required - NO DROP-INS ARE ALLOWED.  Fees for this program are based on a sliding scale – reduced fees are available for those with financial barriers. (2)  Cancellation policy  - We offer partial refunds for program fees up to 14 days before the program. A 20% administration fee applies. Cancellations with less than the required notice are non-refundable. We do not refund fees for late or missed programs. You may also choose to support our public education programming by donating your registration fee. (3) Weather – Rarely, programs may be postponed or cancelled due extreme weather like high winds or extreme heat.  We will alert you by email if the program needs to be rescheduled. The land on which we gather is the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Squamish (Skwxwú7mesh), and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Peoples.
