Led by biologist and photographer Kris Cu, this program will introduce participants to the birds found at Iona Beach Regional Park and birding in general, plus a visit to the WildResearch bird banding station. This time of year, the waters, trees, and skies of Iona Beach are home to the late summer residents, many of which are starting to prepare for the fall migration time. Keep your eyes and ears open for possible encounters with swallows, hummingbirds, warblers, and many other visitors to the park.
