Get to know our local feathered friends while in community outdoors. From the edges of Lost Lagoon through the forested trails and towards the waters of Beaver Lake, there are many spring and early summer residents that could be found, such as warblers, red-winged blackbirds, flycatchers, and more. <span>No experience necessary, and participants will be able to borrow binoculars from Rémi! After getting his Ph.D. in forest bird ecology in eastern Canada, he worked as a Naturalist Guide and Bird Biologist, before moving to the West Coast. Rémi has a strong conviction that conservation goals are better achieved through education and Citizen Science.
