We seek to establish the first seed reservoir (living seed bank), Kachylas, to preserve and safeguard the native Andean seeds, provide education on traditional agricultural practices, and support and ensure the protection of  bicultural heritage.Kachylas is a holistic system rooted in the traditions and wisdom of the Muisca indigenous communities. At its core is the "Integral Ecosystem Recovery" through Andean native seeds, the "Daughters of the Mother", as food for humans, pollinators, birds, mammals, and all species that make up the balance of a territory. This seed reservoir supports food sovereignty, the recovery of biocultural memory, genetic diversity, and help mitigate famine by providing the resources necessary for the individual, family or community to plant, grow and harvest their own nourishment. The seed reservoirs, Kachylas, are the physical, pedagogical, and spiritual spaces where activities to protect the "Daughters of the Mother" are carried out. As a community of living beings, these seeds are conserved, protected, naturally multiplied, and spread across territories to extend life.Our Goals:1. Seed and Food Sovereignty for the Muisca Indigenous Community and their neighboring family farmers: Preserve and cultivate native seeds essential for biodiversity and food security, ensuring that the Muisca people and their brothers can maintain their traditional farming practices thus mitigating famine and reducing the dependence of genetically modified seeds and food products.2. Ecosystem Recovery: Restore degraded lands through sustainable and nature-based practices, promoting environmental health and resilience.3. According to various reports, malnutrition rates among indigenous children can be significantly higher, sometimes double or triple the national average. Often, seeds available to these communities  are genetically modifies requiring harmful chemicals to support the crops and reducing their nutritional value and ability to reproduce organically. Esto subraya la urgencia de abordar la seguridad alimentaria y la nutrición saludable dentro de estas poblaciones.
