Our founder, Joe Robert—a Marine veteran and Operation Iraqi Freedom alum—and Program Director Iqbal Najimi, an Afghan refugee who served alongside U.S. forces, are diligently training for the 2025 Marine Corps Marathon. They're joined by teammates, Helton Periera and EJ Holland!  Their commitment to physical fitness and resilience serves as a powerful example to the youth we support through The Black Feather Foundation. By raising $5,000, we aim to provide programs in sports, health and education for Afghan refugee children, helping them build confidence and community in their new environment. Every training session embodies the values of discipline and perseverance.
