The smallest footprints leave the largest impressions. Baby Noah Gilbraith was stillborn at 32 weeks at Langley Memorial Hospital nearly two years ago. Noah's parents, Layton and Kristen, will soon be welcoming his little brother into the world and would like to commemorate the occasion and help future parents by supporting the maternity ward with their critical work. Kristen and Layton would be honoured if you would consider donating to the Langley Memorial Hospital's maternity ward in baby Noah's memory.Noah's mom would also like to share a letter she wrote to him on the first anniversary of his passing: My Dearest Noah, Not a day goes by where I don’t think about you. I will never forget the first moment I saw you. At 32 weeks I couldn’t believe how big you were. I think about how your little foot was the exact length of my index finger. I think about how when I looked at you, it didn’t make sense that you weren’t breathing. I often wonder about what kind of boy you would have been, and what kind of man you would have become. Would you be analytical like your mother, or would you be adventurous like your father? Would you have been a singer? A swimmer? Would you have enjoyed martial arts like the both of your parents? The infinite number of unanswered questions will forever be my companion as I go through life thinking of you.Regardless, I know for certain that you would have become an intelligent and passionate person and would have deeply loved the people around you. As they would have deeply loved you in return. You were taken from us so painfully early and I will forever mourn your loss. I feel your loss today just as deeply as the first day and there are many moments when I lose my breath thinking of you. I will forever grieve the life that should have been. The life the three of us would have had as a family. Noah, know that you were loved and will forever be loved by your mother and father. We miss you. And we carry you with us in our hearts.
