Saturday, September 14, 2024 will be the inaugural da Vinci Gala, an evening celebrating the arts and sciences and benefitting both East Lynne Theater and the Cape May Point Science Center. The joint fundraiser, which is open to the public, will also honor Cape May resident and longtime member of the Historic Preservation Commission, as well as supporter of numerous area nonprofits, Christina Clemans. Hosted at the Cape May Point Science Center, the night will include first-class entertainment including The Howard Street Ramble and celebrated Cabaret singer Marnie Klar with accompanist Amy Hufana, as well as other unique festivities focused on arts and sciences. Moreover, an online silent auction and in-person live auction to support these organizations will be integral to the event’s success. We anticipate hundreds of attendees, thus increasing exposure and active bidding for the auctions.
Both East Lynne Theater and the Cape May Point Science Center will utilize the proceeds from the da Vinci Gala to expand the excellence and scope of programming they each offer Cape May residents and visitors throughout the year. Your support of the da Vinci Gala is a symbol of your advocacy of scientific research and artistic expression — both paramount to a thriving Cape May. Thank you in advance for helping to make the 2024 da Vinci Gala a memorable evening for many years to come
