Creative Seniors is an eight week art program for seniors age 55+. The program is suitable for all skill levels, even complete beginners! Our program provides a laid-back and inclusive space to dive into art led by Lisa Hrabowsky. This Spring's 8-week session will take quite a different format than our usual one of eight different 'one class' art activities. This time around participants will develop their painting skills by creating one large painting in acrylic paint over the eight week session. Participants will be able to choose their own subject matter or from a selection of options provided. Lisa will then guide you through the process from canvas preparation to developing your composition through to colour mixing and paint application, ending up at the final stages of signing and sealing the final artwork, as well as a discussion on framing options. The final paintings will be exhibited at the Chester Art Centre from April 25 - May 4, with an opening on April 25th. All art materials are included in this class. Creative Seniors is now Pay What You Can - Please choose the price point that's comfortable for you!  Thursdays from 10-11:30am from February 20th- April 10 at the Blandford Community Centre.
