Become a trained Restorative Justice Facilitator by signing up for the Santa Barbara Teen Legal Clinic - Tara Haaland-Ford Restorative Justice Project - Advanced Practicum Course - Starting Mar. 6 - April 24, 2025. This is a 6-Week, 18 Hour Course centered on practical skills training to lead restorative dialog.
Course Details:
When: Thursdays 6-9pm for 6 Weeks beginning Mar. 6th, - Ending April 24, 2025 (Total 18 Hours)
Location: MLK Room, Eastside Library 1102 E Montecito St, Santa Barbara, CA 93103, USA
*Must attend all 6 weeks to complete training
Pre-Req: is completion of our Intro to Restorative Justice Course (held Feb. 8/9, 2025) or equivalent course. Space is limited - priority is given to SBTLC Volunteers

Curriculum Model: The Facilitator Practicum is interactive following a modified version of the Restorative Justice Curriculum from the Center for Teaching Effectiveness at the University of Texas at Austin (originally developed by Dr. Karron G. Lewis and modified by Marilyn Armour for Restorative Justice).
